I just gave this cd its first listen and I think it's awesome. Very nice ambient sounds! It really takes you on a trip No dancefloor material, however a great cd to listen at home!

8.5/10

God damn, you're a bitter man, I guess everything in your world is black and white, Mr Yes/No, I guess for certain simple minded people I would have to rephrase the question again and ask if there is any other "ambient" style albums out there like this one.

bt was telling me he used his own drum machine for this entire album... he also said that he definitely doesnt consider it to be ambient style. There is way too many glitchy sounds and intense builds ups for that I think.

1.618 and See You On The Other Side are my current favs.. as I already mentioned the video for Good Morning Kaia is amazing.

This album is definitely ahead of its time IMO

This is deffo ambient!.....he has obviously been influenced by Eno.... ambient breaks...very interesting sound to this album...however I found it cluttered with too many "intelligent" and impressive "noises" (stutters etc! he is obsessed)...imo it would of sounded better with a more minimalist edge....however there are some fantastic parts in this album...BUT I just find this album a sort of CV to send off to film companies!

This is just... horribly mediocre. :/

1.618 is fairly nice, but otherwise... meh.

In what way? If you refer to those "futuristic sounds" some of you people talk about, i can tell those have been used for many years within the idm community.

Sure, this is a decent album, but not revolutionary in any way if you ask me.

It's a pretty allright album, but I really don't get the feeling of something special when I listen to it.

I think basically the tracks are a little to long, not because I don't like long tracks (I actually do like them), but because some of the tracks changes direction in the end.

Decent album for sure, and I can honestly say I wasn't expecting very much. "The Internal Locus", "See You On The Other Side" and "1.618" are all pretty nice tracks, but I didn't feel the rest of the tracks on this album.

I love this album, BT did a great job

For me, the album felt cold emotionally. The sounds were so exquisite and beautiful that they were obviously manufactured by technology. I sort of thought maybe BT was getting at that... that he can recreate the wonders in nature, but his productions takes some of its essence away. Or maybe that wasn't his point. Maybe I got that idea from the freaky cover art. I really think the album is about the engulfing of nature by technology. I was glad there was piano, strings, and drums in the songs... the instruments brought some human-ness back into his music. I hope I am making sense. I did think the album was very deep.

This album made me think more than it made me feel. I thought quite highly of the album, the sheer beauty of it, the new ideas, but I wasn't moved emotionally.

To tell you the truth. I have no idea if I like this album or not, but I love BT for doing something interesting and different. BT is the man.
