Yeah alright dude, maybe you should take a break from the internet, it appears to have wound you up pretty tight.

Of course, ROFL, after having nothing to say we just start personal insults...cool...quality of music and quality of people playing it...

Like I said before, if you cant find good records, its really not my problem. Continue to assert that all EDM is in this horrible downward spiral of doom. I will keep hunting for music I like.

Hi. Have you heard of dubstep? It combines dub, reggae, electro, techno, drum'n'bass, tribal, industrial, ragga, UK garage, hip-hop, breaks, minimalism, experimentalism and ethnic influences all in one genre. So I'd think twice about that statement.

2006 was the year that it really kicked off, with the Breezeblock special in January. 2007 looks even better, with albums from Plastician, Skream and DJ Distance coming in the first quarter.

It's quite sad that TA seems completely oblivious to its existence. Most people here live in a trance/house bubble. I haven't seen much urban music being discussed at all. Your loss.

thought I'll throw my 2 cents in here. Innovative?

Ferry Corsten--> Trance------->Now = Trash
Tonedepth---> Progressive--->Now = Electro
Sasha---> Progressive--->Now = Electro
Digweed---> Progressive--->Now = Electro
Dousk---> Progressive--->Now = Electro
Gpal----> Progressive--->Now = Electro
Bill Hamel---> Progressive--->Now =leaning to more commercial House
Damien Heck---> Progressive--->Now =leaning to more commercial House
Luke Chable---> Progressive--->Now = Electro

Much respect to Quivver, Habersham,PMT, Way Out West,and Hybrid. They are the true innovators of EDM in my opinion. They have always maintained that distinct yet perennial quality sound for years.

Sasha & Digweed dont play much electro at all anymore, unless you're still listening to sets from 2005. Dousk, Baunder, and Derek Howell are all still making beautiful progressive house records.

Plus that list only represents about 2% of all artists making this kind of music right now...so yeah, no.

Flash Brothers produce electro? Someone might want to tell them that.

Might want to check when those records were produced from Baunder. Everything you have from baunder that is dreamy melodic is old. Him and Mos are producing hard grinding electro house my friend.

Listen to Baunder- My Roots, Logiztik Sounds- Dark Forest (Baunder Remix), Nick Hogendoorn & Eelke Kleign - Dusk (Baunder Remix), Matt Rowan- Dish it Out (Baunder Remix), Matt Black- Epiphany (Baunder Remix), Baunder- Popzone--New

Damien Heck - Deep Reveal & Alicante (Baunder Remix), Cetu Javu -Situations (Baunder Remix), Kaan Duzarat- Organic Intellectual (Baunder Remix), Baunder- Vila, Baunder- Replica, -- Old

Derek Howell is down the same road with the exception of his remix of Michael Jackson- Remember the Time. But check out his remix of Garbage- Androgyny, and Let us Stay Restless, and cram it up.
As far as Dousk, Listen to his newer stuff and compare to older stuff:
Liberto - No Idea (Dousk remix) and Dousk- Biz 1982, Acrobatics 2k6
vs.
Dousk- Florence or Dousk- Nalipat, Dousk-Robot (Older), Dousk's album in 2005

Derek Howell- Come again was produced 2+ years ago....I edited my previous post with examples. That Baunder Remix is a digustingly different approach to his older sound. Go listen to those recommended tracks for comparison.
