As much as I respect J00F, I'm wondering how these assumptions can be made... Tracks sound a lot like eachother, so 'obviously' producers are doing it for the money (or fame) only??
What if these producers actually like today's sound and make their own interpretations with the passion for music they have? And can't you be a little proud then if your tracks actually reach a big audience and you can earn your money with it? (If anyone is to blame, it's record labels only wanting to release the stuff that sells for sure.)
Yes, you can find a lot of rubbish in all the downloadstores, but saying these were all made without passion for the music / without their hearts is a different thing.
