Forums are inherently oligarchic, why some people think they function, or even ought to function, democratically or by some set of generally unspoken yet agreed upon rules doesn’t make much sense. They don't have to be fair, they don’t need to fair and they probably won’t ever be fair - if fair is defined as, "nothing can ever happen that everyone doesn’t totally agree with".
In the same way those who are banned generally shit all over some people and try to make their lives miserable while treating others they like well; mods get to do the exaaact same thing.
Walker has been banned multiple times for posting the same thing over and over or starting drunk threads while others have done the same thing with no repercussions. However, Walker had a history of starting drunk threads so his suspension was due to an accumulation of behavior a mod didn’t like - not for starting 1 drunk thread which is the case with most of these suspensions / bannings.
Anyone who says anything disparaging about a girl gets to experience Wicked Neo riding up on his great white battle horse, his armor gleaming in the sunlight as he scoops up the fair damsel with one hand and bans their ass with the other.
