Also Prometheus Xex, that picture you posted is what they look like, but that person must have really small ears, mine went in real deep and could hardly been seen, only thee clear section poked out for maybe a half inch, also not sure if you would be able to score a pair by tomorrow as I waited a week for them to be shipped here.

Here is the link to order them

Awesome thanks. I go to school in the states so will be able to avoid customs!

Also i would recommend the standard fit unless you have some huge ears, I inquired about this with the company and they said standard fits the majority, the large ones are if you have very wide ear canals, you will be able to tell the difference when looking at the images of both pairs, the plug part for the standard one is more cone shaped, where the large one seems to be the same thickness throughout.

Not sure how good of a thing that is...

Ppl will abuse themselves with no fear of consequence since you'll just be able to do a repair job later...

Have you seen Repo Men? I understand your point to a certain extent, but I don't think it would be too terrible if people abused something like their hearing, and got their ears replaced or something like that.

It becomes more of an ethical issue when you get into replacing things like hearts, livers, lungs, etc. If people think that they can abuse those organs that could create problems, but I don't see any real issue with replacing organs or parts of their bodies that aren't essential to life.

I think it's pretty close to women who use abortion as a birth control method...

It's close to people being negligent with their teeth because they could get veneers; not a big problem with society i think...

I think it's not anywhere near close to that lol. It's their body, so they should have the right to do what they please, and if they have the means to repair, replace, etc. a part of their own body, they should have the right to.

Without getting into a debate about the ethical implications of abortion, that's kind of an extreme example, and involves more than one "person." If anything (and I don't agree with this example either) it'd be closer to women using the morning after pill as a form of birth control.

Also, what Kstuff said.

Well if we're going on the ear example, you've been doing irresponsible things to them for some time now
