OH THE THINGS IM GONNA DO TO RUBY SOUND SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have at it. I was there Sat. night and it sounded much louder than I remember it being the last time I was there. Maybe I didn't have enough alcohol before getting there - but it was rattling my ear drums which I've never had before. Gonna be a mad house there for sure!

that's a recurring theme with ruby skye. the sound there is often jacked up way too loud to enjoy the music for any extended period of time. it can approach the point of uncomfortable, headache inducing, and hearing damaging. a lot of the time it's a matter of the visiting dj not being aware of the sound level on the dance floor and maxing out the mixer levels. the worst case in recent memory was kaskade. i doubt it'll get that bad friday or saturday, but in any case you can ask for those free cheapo foam ear plugs at the bar. i would invest in some etymotic ear plugs though so you can have your cake and eat it too.

Thanks for the advice. It was really odd though cause I was there for Sharam like 2 weeks ago. And I didn't notice the sound at all. After having a few drinks this time (I was dead sober when I got there), it didn't really seem to be that big of a problem. But it was noticeably cranked up though. I don't mind it when it reverbs in the chest - but when the ears start to pound and pop - ugh. Ha ha ha.

I might have to - my good buddy from high school is a bartender at loft11. So might have to show and say what's up. More or less depends on the dude that's coming to armin with me - he can't last as long as I can. Doh!
