Ideally, you would drive to the parking lot at a transit hub, connect to an express train to the new, car-free downtown core.

What we need is a fucking monorail, with solar pylons on each support that runs up the DVP, across the 401 down the 427 and along the lakeshore to Union. It stops only at the airport, a hub at the west mall, a hub at the Gardiner/427, Union station, Bloor/DVP, 401/DVP and Yorkdale.

I'm all in favour of downtown being a car-free zone, but there needs to be an effective transit solution in place first. Sadly, and once again, the TTC doesn't cut it.
