While clutching my tightening chest and wiping the sweat from my face with the other arm, I somehow managed to clear the stage gustapo and talk to Digweed right before he started his set....just before Tilal could finish saying to me "Get the fuck of the stage...", I managed to tell Digweed that bass was way to high and the mids and highs were fucked...he thanked me...and I thank him for saving the sound.

Damn you got Diggers to fix the sound and you're friends with Highroller!!!! I don't know which is more impressive.

Digweed did what he consistently does night in night out. I think reviews of his shows are always going to be mixed. I think a lot of people wait for him to start dropping bombs and banging it out party style....but it ain't his style. The precision to which he does things is unbelievable. Like Pett said, it's amazing that someone can be that good at DJ'ing.

As for his set Saturday night....I highly enjoyed what he played and particularly enjoyed the way in which he programmed it. He would abruptly change gears at many points in the set....some transitions being bang on and quite mind blowing....some not going just as well but overall the mind blowing transitions were far more than the latter. It blows my mind how he is able to piece together some things as well as he does. I thought he started to fade just a bit towards the end and played a few tracks that I felt were slightly misplaced.

Overall, I think his set had a lot more life to it than his previous one at the Koolhaus and I thought he was quite a bit more creative with what he did in terms of programming and the style of tunes he played.

After listening to the KH set, I completely agree.

Creative is the right word.

very well put sir.

It's not very often I feel the desire to go back in time to a party, but for this one I do.
