i just dont find that to be true at all. how come i NEVER have to work out in order to maintain my weight & body physique and yet i know people who have to have really strict diets in order to maintain their weight? some people have slow metabolism and some people have fast metabolism so of COURSE it has to do with your genetic makeup.

Metabolic performance has a HUGE effect on how you process and digest food. As I said, some people are more prone to gaining weight more easily than others or have a slow metabolism, but you are NOT prone to being obese.

Jammers, I am in a family of fat fucks. EVERYONE with the exception of my sister and myself, at least on my egg donors side, is fat.

yes but you don't turn into a 300 lbs human pig just because your metabolism is slow. if you had a slow metabolism you would either eat less or exercise to compensate or you would carry an extra 25 lbs. But you are not picking up an extra 150 lbs because of your metabolism, maybe in very rare cases because of some thyroid issues or something. If you really watch what someone who is morbidly obese eats over the course of an entire day you realize why they are that fat. I have seen this bitch who sits next to me literally wrap a stick of butter in a piece of bread and sit there and eat that
