I have a boy turning 9 in July, I am not one of those parents that imposes their child on anyone. I love my kid and generally people always comment to me about how they love him too, even some people who don't like children have mentioned this. He is well behaved and often funny. To me I think it depends on the kid. When it comes to other people's kids, some are annoying and some kids are sweet and loveable.

If someone's kid is an absolute terror, I am inclined not to want to deal with them or set up play dates with my child since I don't want this type of behaviour to rub off on him. I know later on in life as he gains more independance this may not be in my control but for right now it is.

Yes that would be much better! People hate things for a reason otherwise wtf are they hating it for. So what if the kid can't talk about physics. That might be a reason for some people. It's certainly one of the reasons for me.

I was a little terror as a kid and certainly not talking about physics. In fact, I definitely would not have gotten along with my kid self.

Being that I don't think wotyzoid has had his age on his profile for quite some time now, I find it highly unlikely that you could possibly infer his relative age unless you have been here for quite longer than it would appear...
