Everyone talks about alpha dynacord now but I don't think that guarantees good sound. Boa obviously had a great alpha dynacord system. Cobra on the other hand didn't really impress me. For such a small club with a low ceiling it has huge potential. I'm sure they'll improve with time. For martinez bros. they were playing way to loud towards the end when the club wasn't as full and there were several hands over ears moments. |
lol. Yup, that explains your original post. Back then Guv sound was the best in the city by far.
yeah, setting up a sound system is so difficult. i mean, no matter how expensive your system is, if you don't have a great sound engineer, it's going to suck. it needs constant tweaking. constant upgrades. also, if the room is not perfect, it's going to suck. even the floor makes a difference in what it sounds like. i would hate that job. checking every five minutes how it sounds, dealing with deaf DJs that just want to crank it. don't fucking touch the gain bastards, it's not the fucking volume!
