i'm not a sportsfan but i definitely hope my kids take an interest in some...whether it be karate or swimming or football. it keeps their grades up and keeps them out of trouble for the most part.

Nothing wrong with sports and taking an interest in them. But man, when I was growing up, there was a handful of kids who were into EMMET SMITH DALLAS COWBOYS. You know, Disneyland. Needless to fucking say, those spuds were mouth-breathers; but who can blame them? It's not as though teeth were ever going to be in the way.

No, that's not what I said. You brought up Michael Jackson. People were obsessed with him not because of the life decisions he made, but because of his music and what he meant to them during a certain phase of their lifetime. So him changing his face through plastic surgery makes no difference to the music and the moments and so forth.

Most people are fucking stupid and base their opinions on their fucking stupid emotions. That's all I have to say about this thread.
Yet, I still read it all. Guess I'm an idiot, too.
Now I have to go snort coke off a hookers tit to feel better about myself. Thanks, Slylee.

remember how kobe byrant lost endorsements when his trial was going on? seems as though those big companies agreed (that he's a role model and was no longer considered role model material after being accused of rape/sodomy).
ok actually it probably had more to do with the fact that they were going to lose a lot of money lol but still...the fact that they would lose a lot of money means people were pissed off at kobe and lost respect and probably wouldn't buy the product any more.
why/how is this hard to grasp? lol you really needed me to explain that to you?
No, im just confused why you think its unacceptable for him to play sport again once his punishment has been served. and if you don't think its unacceptable that he's playing sport again then i *really* don't get this thread.

He paid the price and served his time. No need to stigmatize him further.

I don't care what a player does off the field as long as he performs on the field and isn't a distraction to the team.

If he served his maximum sentence then I would say he paid his debt to society. I don't think any of our employers would hire us again if we did what he did. He is a disgrace to the human race and he should go back to being a fucking monkey in the jungle.
