I know, it's a pretty ridiculous arm band. He promised a girl back home in Florida (who LOOOVES Markus) that he would do his best to get some good shots of Markus with the arm band in the photos. I think that picture will make her very happy. At least it was an 18+ event so it didn't look -completely- out of place with some of the candy ravers there.

btw i saw that crazy armband next to me in the crowd a few times and was like wtf...lol
great vids tho man..Panasonic Lumix ZR3 huh? gotta get me one of those..

you're right Tosh, markus and his damn edits.

when he was flipping through his cd case, he had so many edits and different versions of each song. his mixing is really seamless and effortless..does an amazing job.

Wow what a crazy ass weekend and it was absolutely incredible. Ruby Skye with Markus was just so awesome and I'm so glad I did not miss it. It really couldn't have been better. <3 Spundae.

His latest blog...

Goodbye Las Vegas, hello airport. Destination San Francisco for part 2 of my Independence Day, and the tiredness was beginning to kick in. But I was in the mood to see some fireworks when I landed.

Just enough time to rearrange the CDs in my case after checking in, and I grabbed some energy food at the market across the street. My Sunday evening meal consisted of an egg sandwich, a bag of trail mix, and a Red Bull to wash it down. The feast of champions!

As the clock approached midnight, it was time to head to Ruby Skye, the scene of the World Tour episode back in March, and the debut of Dark Heart Waiting, as well as Phynn’s epic remix of Opera of Northern Ocean. Ruby is a beautiful club, and one I would recommend to anyone to visit someday. The club was absolutely packed and my good buddy Blake Jarrell had been getting them worked up very nicely. Ironically, Blake played in Las Vegas the night before, although he had all of Sunday to relax and prepare for his gig!

I took the booth with one thought in my head - don’t use tiredness as an excuse. Just go out and give the crowd every last ounce of your energy, because that’s what a city like San Francisco deserves, along with the SoCal peeps that made the great effort to attend also. Plus with an 18+ crowd, they tend to demand the energy more than others!

So for 4 hours, we went on a great journey and celebrated America’s birthday in style.

Since that World Tour episode from the club, Opera of Northern Ocean has become such a huge hit in the clubs this year. The roars from the crowd were so much louder than the last time!

There literally wasn’t a spare moment in the set where I wasn’t doing something. I was either flicking through the CD case, cueing up the next track, signing a whole assortment of things for the fans (and there were a lot, including a passport!), or just rocking out with the crowd. Everyone was on the floor dancing and having such a great time, and that generated a really electric atmosphere.

An absolutely amazing night in San Francisco once again, and if you were there, you will understand why it has been given a GDJB World Tour recording berth twice in the past couple of years. I encored with the Super8 & Tab remix of Perception, and it brought the house down. By 4:30am, I was gone. So gone. I think the expression that comes to mind is “deliriously tired”. After meeting all the fans down on the floor, I grabbed my things and made it back to the hotel for a well earned night’s rest.

What a way to celebrate Independence Day, in two such amazing cities. Thank you to everyone in Las Vegas and San Francisco who came out to celebrate with me. Would I do it all over again? You bet I would, in a heartbeat!
