It took me a few days to get used to it; but I enjoy it much more than the old one.
There just seems to be more to it now.

I still prefer the old one, personally. I mean I'm not confused by the new one, but it seems less organized to me and overall I find it just easier to navigate in the old one.
anyway, fyi, Beatport's got a 20% off coupon until the 21st. The code is EVOLVED.

Anyone finding it's ridiculously slow at loading the samples now?

Yeah, it's been incredibly slow recently. Perhaps it's due to the new version being accessible to everyone, resulting in reduced bandwidth or something?

This. Web 2.0 websites generally feel way too cluttered and messy to me. I'm happy that Beatport is kind enough to offer an alternative, and I'll be using the old Flash version until they stop giving me the option.

i like basically everything about the new site other than the dj "feedback" and "testamonials" i'm seeing underneath some releases. However, I don't have a problem with them on the site, if beatport thinks that putting some lame endorsement will help it sell, good for them

pro tip: if you're using firefox you can open up the sample in a new tab by right clicking on it, open in new tab. (right click on the little play button in the tracklisting)
