That how us londoners like to be greeted too
Let's hope for a warm welcome then,
Me and a mate are flying in from Sweden on the 25th, guess we'll head to Turnmills or Peach on Friday. We're taking the coach from London up, despite that it'll probably arrive late just like it did last year...
You on that coach too, Misty?

hey! im from the U.S. and im going to this party too (solo that is). I'm gona be leaving from london, but im kinda lost in the sense that im not sure what station to get off in and how to get there. I was wondering if i could also meet up with u guys, but im not clear on where every1 will meet up. I'm familiar with new st. station, so ru guys planning on heading to another station from there? also wut time is every1 meeting up at the station?
but overall, wut is faster- to go on a train from london straight to this town or is the coach bus better. I gota fly out of london on the 27th (the next day) in early afternoon so around wut time do the trains start going again on sunday mornings?
howdy Poyson, most people who are getin train are meeting at Birmingham New st station, as its pretty much on all the main train lines into Birmingham. we will be meeting there from around 11.30 ish till 12.30 ish. theres a seprate train that goes to Stratford from Snow Hill station, which is aorund 15mins walk away and we do know the way! once at stratford theres a bus service to and from the actual global gathering site.
for traintimes back check out www.thetrainline.com its a online timetable of all uk trains, but last year geting back from global gathering to stratford station was a slight problem due to the large amount of people leaving once it was over and if you have a flight to get to and you cant change it to a time more in the evening then you may be pushing it a bit fine to geting back to the airport on time, or you could leave global gathering a hour early to try to avoide the mass crowds

your best bet is to get the train, you'll have to wait from one of the London people to wake up and give you more specific details though (though if i remember corectly London bridge is near to a tube line that goes to Euston Station, which will let you get a train from there to Birmingham where most of us trainin it are meeting

The nearest tube line to London Bridge is the Jubilee line and Northern Line, I'll bet your staying in the Orient Expresso chain of hostels down Borough High Street! My uni is very close to there.
Anyway, IF you want to get a coach, which i recommend u dont, you can get the Northern line to Kings Cross/St Pancras and get the coaches from there. Euston is one stop past Kings Cross.
Thanks for the heads up...staying with a mate who moved to London a while back and Im pretty sure he said London Bridge...
Do I need to book a ticket for the train down to Birmingham or not?
Anyway Im sure I'll figure it out once I get to London in early July hehe

booking tickets normally means its cheeper, but if you miss your train you have to pay more, so it depends on how confident you are you will make those times

Just my 2cents, but isnt it a good idea to make somesort of LIST of all the people that are going, together with their nationality? At least, thats what we did in the Holland TA-forum with Tiesto in Concert. There were 90 TA-members. Think GKGG will be somewhat around 90 members also
