WOW, I just read this thread and I must say I'm stunned.. There was recently something like this on the news, only about a 'dubbeltje' which was also a SE and with the Euro coming the price would double!
So I don't think he should change it, because when we'll get the new currency these rare coins will become worth a lot more!!

ok, i do have that coin, but...i dont know if the year of this coin is of any significance. i think (have to check) its 1987. is a coin, that relitivly new, of any importance? and whats this i have two weeks? it wont be worth anything after that? gimme all the details.

About the coin:
In Europe we get a new currency wich means all Dutch, german, french and some other currencies will be replaced bij a new currency the Euro. This means that your coin will become even more valuable beacause there will be less 'stuivers' available. I don't really know much about coins, but if it's a special edition the price will be likely to rise with the comming of the Euro.. But to be sure you should contact a dutch coin collector or someone who knows a lot about Dutch coins... Good luck!!
