Nothing to do with IRC, IRC and the forums are seperate issues.

He was banned for his persistant idiocy in the forums as well as his involvment in a incident involving another mod.

Reading between the lines, it looks like the other mod doesn't want to reveal what the incident was, so it isn't actually Neo who's the one complaining about it.

@ St. Andrew: Swamper may have changed his mind, stranger things have happened

Anyhow, unless we know what the other incident was, and weather the 'other mod' is the one who asked for him to be banned, we can't exactly go throwing around accusations like 'Neo is abusing his powers', that's just simply unfounded, and has no basis.

Hopefully the other mod (whoever they are) will post in here what the 'incident' was, otherwise we really can't judge the situation...

Then again, this is just another example of what Arbiter pointed out in his post. As long as all the administrative decisions regarding other TAs are discussed and carried out behind closed doors, these kinds of debates/accusations will always occur.

Hmm well I can't say that I have any issues with any of the mods on TA. The only thing that I have noticed on a few occasions is that when people do something that they're not supposed to, like posting a thread in the wrong section, or asking questions that were answered in another thread, then sometimes the mods are quick to jump down that person's throat. All I ask is for a little patience.

But other then that I think you all are doing a good job. This thread was a good idea Neo!

Anyways, it seems like I was under estimating the job done by the mods. I would be more pissed off if threads were closed without getting things resolved. It would turn me off very quickly.

i was going to read the other posts but they seemed to long.

overall the mods in the areas i visit do a good job.
what some people have to understand is that this is the internet.
some people seem to have an ego trip when they are online because maybe there lives are not that interesting and they create personalities for themselves on line. sad but true.

eg. OMGHI2U

they don't have the balls to talk to a girl like that on the street so they react that way online.

happy to see mods wanting feedback. this site can only get better.
