The set started off very energetically, a couple of techno tracks, then went down a notch to melodic trance; he played a couple of older tracks, took a break with Beautiful Things, and now will raise the energy to finish the set. It's hard to accomplish this in 2 hours, but looks like PvD is pulling it off.

Where do you see the randomness?

I just view it as random, I mean he goes decent then some decent tracks....takes down the level with another tune....i mean I thought he was building it...then again to each his own. I mean of all the stuff I've heard pvd do (with exception of the love from above, which is usually random as heck)....is not this random. This set reminds me more of tiesto cuz lately he has been playing weird stuff. I may not be with the times but normally you expect a dj in 2 hrs to start slow and build and build till the end (ie.casino em or the home em). They were builders with wicked kickass endings. This just seems lifeless...who knows....he could have a storming last 20-25 mins.

The start of his set was very mellow if I remember correctly, there were no techno tracks and I dont remember him playing much melodic trance. The older tracks were quite upbeat

PVD does this all the time, just sticks in a slow track when u think he is building up a set
