Damn, I was originally thinking of getting everyone around me to sign a petition on the note I wrote... cos I know I would have easily had 20+ signatures. The main reason I was so hopeful was that this was the first time he's been in San Antonio for years (or the first time ever, as far as I know), and I realised that when DJs are in a city or country that they hardly ever play in, they drop big, classic tracks like Tijs said in that interview. A banner would have been nice... but meh.

Ok finally some pics of the night. Some of the pics are kind of blurry cause I'm still a digital cam newbie. Enjoy

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. There were several girls there with us. Its just that I don't know if they would want their pics on the net. You know how women are. All my pics of the hot bartenders were lost due to an early "format error". They were sexy as too. But WERD we do need some estrogen around here.

I had my hand on that hat, but my grip wasn't good enough of course because I didn't get it.

By the way, I just saw that group pic, I didn't know that was you guys! I was right next to you all the whole time lol...I had a white polo shirt on if you remember?

Me and my bud Richard got a shit load of pictures as well...I think like 170?

Here's a pic of me if you remember seeing me...

The reading i got from his attitude that night is completely different than what the rest of you are describing but anyway i went there to lose myself in the emotion and energy of the night. So Tiesto's set wasn't the best he's ever done but that neither makes nor breaks the party, the energy was almost overwhelming at points.

since no one is responding to "who's who" in the pic i'll tell you who i know.

guy up front left with a W on his hand is DJ Octane.
striped shirt in the middle is Remeberence
the guy immediately left of the dude on the far right is Ibiza Dreams (the guy on his right is his roomate but i forgot his name after 7 beers and a shot of tequila).
i'm the one in the back...the taller one (very un-photogenic).

hah, DJ Octane, you should have snagged a shot of me with my new Tiesto t-shirt. People up front didn't expect some 6ft guy with an 8.5 foot reach and a 25 inch verticle to jump for that one lol.

Sorry Andres but I forgot most of your mates names. I met so many new people that night and like i said i'm horrible with names. Feel free to add their names if you wish.

making signs requesting songs has always worked for me. when tiesto came down here last year, i got him to play Traffic (right after he saw my sign), Faithfulness, and Mark Norman - Stream.

u just gotta do it at the right time, when the track would fit his set.

glad you guys had fun, hope we can all hit up a party together one night.

-mike

Shoulda got a better group shot... so many people missing from that pic - Frank (Bones), his mates Alf, Jeremy, Linda... Erica, Peter (DeviantxPete), some of Dave (Octane)'s mates Steve, the other Steve, Joe, Jacob (Zild - didn't even see you that night man)...

oi Dave, was that little chick named Mimi a friend of yours?
