Well I dont hate tiesto or anything, nothing of that style... But I just don't feel his sets so much anymore... Like I understand why people love him so much, and respect to them, but he's just not my style anymore... I mean I can have a good time at his gigs but not always...

When I was living in Holland I was totally devoted to tiesto. I mean I would go to 90% of his gigs there, but then after TIC (which was honestly very very cool) he became way too much of a dj that people go to because they've heard his name. I mean imagine wanting to see your fave dj and some bitches in high heels with their purses pushing you HARD and giving you dirty looks because they want to SEE tiesto rather than even bother to dance. And then his sets became less quality in my opinion. I mean not bad, but they just didn't blow me away anymore...

Then I "discovered" Armin again. and I just instantly loved his sets and his interaction and I wasn't afraid to state so either. I mean I just really loved how even at big gigs he would just come down to say hello to people and pose for pics and give autographs... I got to know Armin pretty fast and I loved his track selection, more of the trance I like period.

And then when I posted that Armin was my favorite dj in the tiesto foruum, they bvanned me, ******s! so now tiesto can go suck a big fat one

no just kidding but i was like "what kind of fucking arrogant retarded thing is that?" so I dunno then i was like UGH! and with him acting like a prissy and breaking the arm off the turntable. WTF but ok, I can still enjoy his sets, I just don't LIKE him anymore... Like I dont get all excited to see him, although at ultra I could've kissed him for spinning silence

i think it was at a gatecrasher event in the uk, the eqiupment was really bad and when the sound went out like for the second time, or something of the sort, tiesto supposedly threw a temper tamptrum, or so ive heard.

yeh i feel you on a few points, he is getting so popular that alot of people just come because of the name, not because they love trance, and that sucks for real fans like me and you, but i guess that comes with the territory of being the worlds number one dj. i just hope he doesnt turn into an oakenfold, because that would be a shame. ive been a tiesto fan since the end of last century, and tho his style has changed, and so has trance for that matter, the quality of his sets are still great to me and he still has that "majik", and until he loses that i will always be a devoted fan. but i do love armin, he is so nice and down to earth, how many djs go hang out with people they played for at a gig that same nite? not many, that is sooooooooo wicked cool to me. but thanks for your response, very interesting.

his club eau sets are absolutely sick!! your so right, my faveorite being that march 18th of 2000, where he starts off with communication two, so so sickKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!! and the club eau mc is cool, unlike buster and that other douche bag! as for your top three djs, i love ferry the more i see him live, he had an epic set at space a month ago, but he is still no tiesto..but gaining.., and as for marvo v i love his productions, but ive seen him live twice now and his sets are just two techy for me as a live dj, but his productions of the past year have been second to none. imho

The sound that Armin used to lay down is what got me into trance pretty much. His shit used to be sooo fucking sick....now most of his shit is like zzzzZZZzzzzz. But w/e...I still like him and support him as a producer/DJ.....hes an awesome guy.
