Real Madrid have announced they have won the race for Mascherano from River Plate. They beat out Inter, Arsenal, Barca, Deportvio the deal is for 20 million and he could join in Jan.

The 6 weeks of Beckham is not entirely sure... In fact they are seeing if he can play this saturday for Real'sgame in La Liga..... however there there are some other REAAAALLY bad news.... Jonathan Woodgate just had his new medical checkup and it appears he wont be able to play for another 10 weeks
