I'm convinced that you have 'no fuckin clue' either & that youre simply another one of these gimps whos suddenly decided to get into breakbeat because they think its a bit cool. Dont confuse me with some of the other twats who think PvD is 'god' and can do no wrong. But understand that he was around shaping the music scene when zabiela was still only about 10 years old. Dont get taken in by the hype, hes an average dj at best. So what if he tries loads of tricks? Jeff Mills has based his whole career on that, and hes losing more and more respect by the day. Until zabiela can prove himself a good dj in terms of his actual musical sound, rather than in terms of some novelty act, then i have very little time for him.

I seem to remember it taking Sasha quite a long ass time to make a studio album. He did productions every now and again, but making a studio album = no live djing. zabiela is still riding off of his success as of late to do a studio...
but as to your earlier comment about GTDJ001, you might think the mixing is atrocious because its not like trance; the exact same beat in almost every track, the tempos are relatively the same, and its way more popular so more people make tracks for him to play. the shit that zabiela is playing is so uniquely different in its sound and beat. its not that the beat is different, but its how its organized. trance has the same organization, and ive heard the guy mix in bob marley, and then his usual stuff.
and before you tell me oh you've never heard pvd, i used to be a pvd/tiesto/armin/trance fan until i heard 1 zabiela set from may 2002. trance is good in certain situations, but not for listening at home where you can't dance to it....
