well i am bored even to flame their pop idol
i predict that in 10 years tiesto is gonna be a judge in dutch popstar/american idol spinoff program

Well, I hate to tell you this. You might be a little G&D fan right now cause they are "in" but in 5 years (after they start creating more of their own ORIGNAL SONGS) they will be played out also !!

No offense to G&D but everyone gets played out sooner or later and maybe Tiesto will become some lame judge on an American Idol spin-off show, but at the end of his day you might be asking him if he wants "paper or plastic"

I don't want to break your heart but not everyone is a bandwagoner. When people ditch G&D it will be for the same reason they ditched Tiesto, because his DJing and producing went to total shit.

Wonder why the CDs are perfect? The tracklist is picked out beforehand which means he doesn't have to fill requests or think of any tracks on the fly. He can just sit in his studio and practice the transitions a million times.

It's also worked on in a studio meaning if he makes a small mistake they can fix it afterward. How do you know he didn't record 5 sets and then just pick the one with the least screwups? Check out other concert s, they're all planned to a T beforehand. Just because he has good live-recorded CDs doesn't mean that he's any more talented based on the lack of trainwrecks.

and how does this not relate to any other "famous" dj ??

I never said it didn't, was there a deep meaningful point to that or were you just bored?

Well, let me spell it out for you. If you can not take his production into consideration when you are listening to his mixing, then you my friend don't see the big picture... they are two different things but they go hand in gloove when it comes time to vote.

Spell it out for me because I really don't seam to be getting the point of voting for the top Disc Jockey based on producing.

I think it is a DILDO !!!

and it does make it a good song, you know why because it got alot of play. You know, you are not seeing the bigger picture. Maybe the song isn't "underground sounding" enough for you, but guess what, maybe Tiesto is smart enough to target the "majority" of dance music listeners and make songs that appeal to them....So, just because you and your friends don't think a song is good, doesn't make it a BAD song. Majority wins on everything...I never heard about the few winning over the many

Or maybe the song was shit in my opinion? Because I don't like the song it does make it a bad song. I hear the new DJ Sami is getting popular, he is now teh best disc j0ckey.

So simply because it's popular it's good? And he's not targeting the "majority of dance music listeners," he's only targeting the small fraction of EDM fans that listen to Trance. There is so much more to EDM than Trance. And yes, it does make it a bad song; you can't tell people that it's good simply because they like it and the masses don't.

Because there is alot of people like me that take Production into consideration when it comes time to vote. See, the whole point of Djing is to get the songs to the people so they go and buy them or they buy a CD or that they will just like what you played and come back to see you next time ( i am sure they all Dj cause they enjoy it as well ) ..Well now-a-days everyone plays mostly stuff from their own labels and their own production...so when listening to their sets and CD's I take the production work into consideration because that is a big part of why they are Djing

(i.e. I am talking about the top 10 Dj's or so, who are also Producers with well known songs in circulation)

That replaces an old guy falling off his bike as the funniest thing I've heard all day.
