With the bullpen the Braves have this year, even Devil Rays can beat them in playoffs. Gives up about 4 runs a game. Plenty for opposition. I am disgusted. I cant believe this issue wasnt resolved before the start of the playoffs on Braves' behalf. Bad decision making on someone's behalf. |
yup, in Game 3 against the Astros, 3 relievers in a row went a total of 0.0 innings, i.e. they failed to get a single out, and gave up 4 runs
at least the Braves got Kyle Farnsworth at the trading deadline, and have made him into an effective closer, as he went 10 for 10 in save opps during the regular season. Much like the Yanks, getting the ball to the closer is the big challenge.
