Seriously whenever i hear someone that prefer the Orkidea remix i just feel sick. Why can ANYONE EVER prefer the Orkidea remix? It completely ruins the point of the original track (which is to be a fucking cool track) and makes it dull and uninspired. And shitty. And standard trance-like.

Rant over.

I'm such a noob. I wanted to get back with you on the Scorchin' track now that I've finally heard it in all its glory just to tell you that I disagree with you, lol.

Try Super8's older track 'Cre8'. That track for me qualifies as a better contender than the Scorchin' one. He's also one-half of Aalto and they have been disappointing as of late. Anyhow you should also check out their older tracks 'Taurine' and 'Rush'. You will notice the difference.

I might as well make this bump worth while. I'd like to include the following track to this thread:

Aspekt - Hijack

how you can say that any of Jonas Steurs tracks is classics is beyond me.
and same goes for all the overplayed tracks in ASOT, it's just like mainstream radio all over hammering the same tracks until you puke

I think

G&D as the rush comes
G&D arcadia
Holden - Nothing

are undisputed as future classics if not instant classics.

I would personally say

Dogzilla - Without you
Tiesto - adagio for strings
no one on earth (g&D remix)

have a good chance of being played in 5 years time on a classics night

Classic? Its not even a GOOD tune. If fuking gash of the heighest order. Its not even trance in the traditional sense. Its more of a cheesy commercial dance track

You may not think its a good tune but many people do like it. A number of DJ's have hammered it and everytime i heard it out, there was a great reaction from the crowd that showed that many others like it aswell. Even so, yeah it might just disappear never to be played again, thats why I listed it in my second 3.

AS far as the "its not trance" comment. No maybe it doesnt stick to the trance formula by the book, but its made by a trance producer, played by trance DJ's, only to be heard at trance events, so you'll forgive me for classifying it as trance
