Wow. This is a good deal for Toronto.

Jones was doing nothing for Toronto and Dixon can score. Loved his game when he was playing for the Wizards.

The only thing I don't like is that it buries Derrick Martin on the bench if they treat Dixon more as a PG than a SG. I want Martin to stay here to help bring along TJ and Calderon.

The real motivation behind the deal is $$$. Jones had three years and more money left on his contract comparted to Dixon's 2 years. I just hope it doesn't mean Martin is outta here.

I think Martin is going to stick around as an assistant coach. He is one already anyways.

Mitchell and Colangelo knows the value of Martin as an influence in the team.

I don't think they'd be crazy to throw that away.

Exactly about the money! Jones contract was to pay out like over $9 million in the next three years!

We all know that the Raps aren't going to win the championship this year...so its great to see them planning for a run in the upcoming years!
