well, if it can overtake sawx yanks, I'm all for it, but I'll grow a third leg before I care about the marlins and phillies.

Also, add braves-mets.

i'd add astros-braves to that list too

braves kept knocking out the astros in the late 90s in the division series

astros returned the favor in the division series in 04 and 05
braves knocked the astros out of the NL Central Race on the last day of the season this past season

yeah, but there's no real rivalry. On the other hand, ever since John Rocker, the Braves & Mets have had something between them.

Curt Schilling had a no-hitter going into the 9th, but it was broken up with 1 out left.

I might have spoken too soon about those damned Yankees. They now have as good a chance as anybody to win the Wild Card in the AL. And only 7.5 games behind the Red Sox? Crazy what a good streak like that can do for you in the standings.

Are Craig Biggio and Frank Thomas Hall of Famers?

Frank Thomas to me, no question is a HOFer, just because of the 90's... growing up in the 90's, it was Big Hurt and Ken Griffey Jr.... then NO ONE Else, they were the two studs, and they always had the highest priced baseball cards.... he was always a threat for the Triple CRown.... therefore being considered ONE, if not THE player of the 90's in my opinion, he's easily HOF material....

besides... honestly, I would have rather had Big Hurt in his prime over Tony Gwynn everyday of the week, dunno why i'm picking on Gwynn, but I always think of Gwynn as over-rated....

As for Biggio, I really do not know... I can't really knock him on anything, and the guy played like every position.... and just think if he stayed a catcher, he might not have played as long.... so I guess thats even more impressive.... I'll lean towards HOF, but not more of a lock than Big Hurt....
