First I'll need to be sure I have a secure place for my camera bag. It's big. Don't think it can simply fit under the lighting area!
I will film in spurts -- a track here, a track there, but not like an hour at a time. If the booth was HUGE and I could setup a steady tripod for a long period of time I'd consider it but the camera setup is too big to leave in one spot for a long period of time.
Not sure exactly when I'll arrive. Really depends on what options are available between dinner and going to Ten15. If the dinner runs late and then Ten15 is the best option right away then that's where I'll be. If it ends early and someone wants to go to their place to hang out while Ten15 fills up a little, I'll probably show up a bit later. I don't see myself showing up too much later than midnight...if that late at all!
I'll only have a couple tapes and a few big batteries. I'll be sure it's all charged, but sometimes batteries go whack. At Digweed one went from two hours left...then suddenly jumped to 35 minutes left...then 5 minutes later, jumped to like 6 minutes left and so I only got like 30-40 minutes of footage. I'll let a few other people handle the camera, but only if they appear sober and in control and only in the booth! It's a $5,000 system and if anything happens to it I am so fired. It's hard to get a hold of one to check out of the weekend. I try all the time and this is the first time since digger's weekend
