Oh, you don't need to read the thread to write down your ideas. Just don't expect to get much respect if you don't. I'm trying to tell you how to gain respect here. If you want people to pay attention to you and offer you sound and applicable responses, then pay attention and offer sound and applicable arguments.

agreed! i bring my apologies to those who felt being disrespected and assaulted by my post and turning the discussion of J00F's interview into the public execution of me. next time i will clearly state that i have read the entire thread and on that basis make a statement. amen

j00f is fucking amazing, please stay the way you are, i agree with everything you're saying, trance has been garbage for the past 4-5years, all the same generic bullshit, sander van doorn on the other hand has been fucking awesome and it was the only live trance act that i decided to go for and he killed it.

Surely he realizes the state of the world in relation to drugs?

The RAVE Act, law enforcement bufferings, propaganda sales are up... you can't simply blame the media, it was designed to be this way.

If you wear cargo pants to a show, you're part of the problem.

half of the tracks on those radio shows really bore me,as theres no melodies that stand out, yeah sure, the production quality is nearly perfect - but who cares about that..they dont have any feeling or emotion in them which is all that matters imo..

It's true, there's a lot of subterfuge in the works in regards to production these days, but there are more tools than ever before.

People make the music they want to make... don't blame the lack of creativity on TRANCE, blame it on human laziness. All the pieces are present to allow anyone to make almost anything.

how does Sander Van Doorn relate to non-generic trance? i think he had one or two unique tracks and then joined the fucking electro+trance movement

his 2004-2005 stuff was quality, he had a unique production style & a refreshing approach to his dj sets. he was certainly more a leader than a follower back then, although it doesn't show so much now since the rest of the scene has caught up with him
