Ofcourse planets don't dictate our lives. The concept could be a total abstraction of something else, which is then mapped into planets and their positions just like any mathematical transformation. Astrology is big in India. Lot of believers, but 99 out of 100 astrologers are fake to the boot. There are some however, who can simply by looking at your horoscope, hand, foot, face whatever they want to, predict accurately (and I'm not saying generally or vaguely) your personality, incidents of your past life and incidents in the future. How the do it I don't know. But fuck, they can do it. I have had personal experiences and therefore I cannot simply dismiss this as a quack science.

Why would I not believe if I've experienced it ? I don't believe in the common explanations because they are nonsense. I don't rule out the possibility of the existence of some alternative scientific explanations.

because, asides from anecdotal testimony there isnt a shred of evidence to support it. personality archetypes are very easy to present, people will always look for similarities to their own personality type, and there are just general "cliched" traits that everyone will feel that they have.

go back a few pages and read about "cold reading", this is exactly what is happening.

and, since this is all based around your birthdate, i still havent seen an answer that explains how the uterus protects the unborn foetus from being influenced by the heavens.

Well, scientific evidence is all that counts. Otherwise its nothing more than hearsay, and we all know how easy some people find it to fool themselves into thinking/experiencing just about anything.
