They're not saying people should stop producing. They're saying that rather than a dj playing a bunch of shit productions that have been made recently, they'd rather hear the dj play good older productions

I agree, there are a tonne of shit tracks being made, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there is also a shitload of good music around! Those good old tracks are gems, thats for sure, but their time has come and gone. Once in a while, if a DJ drops an old tune, the crown goes mental. It's definitely a nice surprise (Sasha, Warehouse Party, Xpander at then end) but if DJs played nothing but those old gems, are you seriously telling me that they would get kudos from everyone?

Theres alot more older music that you've probably never heard that sounds just as current as some of the best new releases at the moment. It's not about reviving classics such as xpander, I'm talking about the wealth of EDM as a whole. Point is Danny manages to play a wide array of great tgracks that keeps his sets fresh and interesting everytime...so to say that no DJ can achieve that these days because of the current state of production quality is absurd.

Not being completely inept has something to do with it.

Every time you post, I cringe hard at how utterly shallow you and everything you have to say are.

Old != Classic

I'd rather a DJ play a couple of forgotten 90's tracks than drop-dead classics. Like, say, Surgeon, who's the king of this. In his latest mix, he played Complex - Dreamworld, an Orlando Voorn track I'd long forgotten about. Much better than beating a dead horse with the obvious classics.

See, he could've banged like this in ATL... but he chose not to.

Great set here btw!
