only one journalist covering the flyers?!?!? omg, philly isn't colombus.
two tier league with a European Division. Truth be told, ratings are 'generally' down in most sports in a continued fragmented tv audience, though some compelling finals have bucked the trend (NBA final, Superbowl, Stanley Cup).
Habs better win it now.. there's gonna be another lockout in a few years at this rate.

get rid of teams with no interest level...less teams = better teams. The markets in the US that support the game are enough. All this expansion has hurt the game imo.
best first rounder we've had in a while...(besides Holy Jesus Price, of course)
Good Speed, good forechecking, good size, drives to the net, good hands...
I think he'll start in Hamilton....but i wouldn't be surprised if Bob Gainey pulls a major trade to get rid of guys like Lapierre, Dandenault, Begin and even latendresse, in order to get a quality 4th D and keep guys like Chipchura and Pacioretty on the roster...
O'Byrne looked like shit tonight....and so did Brisebois.

i am convinced that with all the talent we have on the depth chart in hamilton we will see another young guy step in mid season and pwn a la andrei kostitsyn this year.
Stewart is not ready, but he will be a great 3rd line guy when he is. I really like this kid.
If Weber learns how to play D this year he will be back.
bouillon left with an injury last night and carbonneau said things weren't great.........anyone know the severity?

Weber looks really promising, and stewart, well i think Chipchura, Pacioretty, D'Agostini and Maxwell are all ahead of him...so best bet for him would be to move to another organization...he can be a solid 3rd liner on a lot of teams...
