Digweed did what he consistently does night in night out. I think reviews of his shows are always going to be mixed. I think a lot of people wait for him to start dropping bombs and banging it out party style....but it ain't his style. The precision to which he does things is unbelievable. Like Pett said, it's amazing that someone can be that good at DJ'ing.
As for his set Saturday night....I highly enjoyed what he played and particularly enjoyed the way in which he programmed it. He would abruptly change gears at many points in the set....some transitions being bang on and quite mind blowing....some not going just as well but overall the mind blowing transitions were far more than the latter. It blows my mind how he is able to piece together some things as well as he does. I thought he started to fade just a bit towards the end and played a few tracks that I felt were slightly misplaced.
Overall, I think his set had a lot more life to it than his previous one at the Koolhaus and I thought he was quite a bit more creative with what he did in terms of programming and the style of tunes he played.
reading that makes me regret for missing out. His last time at Koolhaus had left me wanting more.
so did he crack a smile this time?

I did see him grooving a bit to one tune though. kinda hard to see when there was no light shining on the DJ booth. also, I didn't see a source of light inside the DJ booth. that'd be annoying, trying to see shit
Was it Fortier that was with him in the booth all the time?

You know, I was going to come back at you with childish name-calling and all the other shit, but here's how I see it:
1. I have an opinion that some people didn't like.
2. Instead of resorting to a decent discussion about what was going on, a few members said what I said was complete bullshit and a sad excuse (I'm paraphrasing).
3. Name calling.
