Notice no one but your little circle of friends (who dont post outside any threads beside your own) has stuck up for you. If anyone else has it has been slim.
And yes, if you cant find one single video from one of your Epic parties, I would consider them not too Epic, so what you packed out a restaurant. From what I have found from asking around it was due to lack of option that events did well at Bazzar. It was definitely not due to any kind of good promotion work or insanely good sound. Heck, no one here even heard about the events till after you came over saturating TA with crap threads.
No one is saying that what you guys are trying to do for music is a bad thing, nor am I wanting you to stop. I am just tired of you guys coming to TA and hyping up your events like they were the most awesome and epic events that Atlanta has ever seen. You are preaching that shit to the wrong fucking message board at the very least. |
There is a difference between playing in Ibiza at a restaurant, and then playing in Ibiza, LA, NYC, London, Barcelona, etc... at clubs, on Resident Advisor, having an international following, and having those international followers buying your music off of beatport every month.
Matthias Tanzmann comes to mind...
He was one of those "no-namers at Bazzaar."
And the not having videos thing is hilarious to me. The last thing I wanted to do at Bazzaar was take a video while I was dancing to Konrad Black.
