but whats the deal with allowing edm events to go on if they arent tainted drugs but still drugs vs shutting them down if they are tainted? what is the difference? isnt the issue simply a high number of drug related incidents occur with edm events compared to others - no matter if its overdose vs tainted?

I'm glad they caught the person, hope they are punished accordingly. I heard rumors of someone stabbing people, but I thought it was just bs, guess not.

Like DUH. Nothing wrong with more sympathy and shock being shown towards the person who KNOWINGLY ingested a narcotic (whether it was tainted or not does not matter) vs innocents who were at risk of unknowingly being infected with aids or with drugs that tentatively could cause a fatal reaction by mixing with the substances they may have already taken.

Thats not how the law works. Preventing fatalities does not generate as many reads or hoopla as an actual fatality.

Haha... I remember people back at homebase in the 90's that used to go around poking people with needles and then telling them they were "infected with AIDS". at least 40-50 people a night were going to the Dr's monday morning, testing themselves... bunch of crap.

I like how the report leaves out how the person went to the ER two days after POP.

And look, another 25 year old. But I guess he won't be enough to place responsibility on by the media, cops, etc.

Its always the promoters fault, just think what it would be like if this was the strategy used against everything...

Ruby Skye: terrible drinking location, man goes home and two days later gets hit by a car, we should close ruby down!

I know raves have a lot of drugs, but everywhere has drugs now! Go to any music show and tell me there aren't drugs being abused...
Massives are WAY Abused for e....
But it is still an adult who made a bad decision....
