In regards to the rules and regualtions for the fest. All festivals go over the top with restrictions. This is obviously because if they can discourage a few people from bringing in illegal/frowned upon items, they are going to list everything to make it seem like you will be jailed for chewing gum. This doesn't mean it will actually happen. Ultra said no backpacks. I wore my camel back everyday, no problems. Eat your drugs before you get it in, you will be fine. It's not a camping event so I am sure you will last the 6 hours(your ass won't be there until 6:00 p.m or later and it will be done at midnight) of music without your chewing gum and fireworks.
In regards to the website and announcements, I find 2 things strange. The line-up was up and is not taken down. Secondly, if they are billing this to have multiple stages then I don't see how the rumored line-up could fill all time slots with multiple stages and a hopefully large event such as this. I also feel that there will be too many acts for one stage. The reason I mention this, they have not said anything about adding more artists to the line-up. Here we are, less that one month out, and still no finalized line-up. Get it together EDC.

This. A month away and I'm pretty sure EDC Las Vegas has more daily news than the event less than a month away. Not a great way to get this event going for years to come.

You can defend them all you want, in fact I admire you for doing so, but don't you find it a little suspect that whenever these characters change their style and sound - it's always a "coincidence" they select whatever sound happens to be "popular" that month? - John Askew
A lot of artists today are just victims, not having control, and they're not free. And that's pathetic. If you start being dependent on money, then money has to reach a point to fit your expenses. - Thomas Bangalter

Instead of "not" I'm assuming that you meant to type "now"
I took all of the information that was in the initial post off in order to refer everyone to the official website that is now up and running. I just noticed that it's not posted there yet. They are in the process adding more acts and finalizing the lineups. As soon as it is wrapped up it will be available for viewing on the official website. The artists that were previously mentioned ARE booked and WILL be there.
Friday
Tiesto, Afrojack, Skrillex, Goldie, Gabriel & Dresden, Dirty South, 12th Planet, Downlin, Porter Robinson, Bunny of Rabbit in the Moon, Craze, Klever, Kastle, Metropolis
Saturday
Paul Van Dyk, Benny Benassi, Ferry Corsten, Diplo, Calvin Harris, Markus Schulz, Datsik, Dirtyphonics, Feed Me, Claude Von Stroke, Beardyman, Morgan Page, AK 1200

I have tickets and am going. Line-up looks fun but would think that they would have their sh*t together 3 weeks out. No worries, it will rage.
So, if ticket sales are good, whats the count looking like?
