No man he doesn't want anyone to vote for him because these lists are too commercial and not good for the SCENE man

john fleming is the only dj I can think of whos spoken honestly about what a joke the top 100 is although there were a lot more djs commenting on it this year. I hope that even more speak out.

Agree, technically he is very good, in fact i think he has got better over the years with the introduction of live synths and remixing in his sets. His club sound certainly has energy too still, although he isnt really a showman and rarely interacts with the crowd. The one area he has not been as successful in is developing his brand and the Vandit enterprise. Armada win hands down in this respect, as did Pefecto in the 90's and early 000's (just as Oakie turned to crap). I dont think he really capitalised on being number 1 in the dj poll as others have. But maybe he didnt want to.

That makes sense. If I'm not mistaken didn't Vandit recently merge with Armada? Either way I hope his new album is successful. Would love to see him continue his amazing career haha

Which DJ impressed you most live?

In that case he doesn't understand that it just shows popularity of DJ's, nothing more nothing less IMO.
You could discuss if it is representable.

True.

It's just that every time I have read something what he has said or written he is always saying that trance scene needs some kind of revolution. I WANT TO SEE ACTION NO WORDS (unless the words make some effect).

I like psytrance though.

Which DJ impressed you most live?

I saw PVD earlier this year and I though he was still up there.

Ive long liked Sasha and what he does and saw him at a pool party in Ibiza this year and he was still bang on (if you like that sort of thing). Im not sure pool parties are a good barometer of what a dj plays live in a club as Ive only been to one! But, it seems you have that culture in the States and it is becoming popular in Europe too now.

As an up and comer (though he's been around years), Activa always impresses me. He was with Vandit (not sure if he still is as he seems more associated with Enhanced now, even though he started his own label this year). He plays very much in the style of PVD and was the sound engineer for a number of big name djs. He's well worth looking out for.

I was pleasantly surprised by SVD this year. Id never seen him live before and cant say his productions ever grabbed me but he's a classic case of a totally different experience in a club environment.

How about you?

IMO, the y should have a poll for each genre, then have the top 3 of each genre at an event LIVE. then the crowd and judges score them and online voting for the best sets.

Wanna bet online voting will be replaced by televoting?
