I was gonna say, today was quite reasonable for this time of year. Compared to the last week or so, anyway. Should be a fairly mild week as well, but I never truly trust weather forecasters. Like Will.

And as far as cost of living, yeah it's a bit more than what I'm used to, but it's far outweighed by the amount I get from work.

Compared to NZ
Eating out - cheaper here
Going out drinking - cheaper here
Taxis - cheaper here
Bottle-o - way cheaper in NZ
Petrol - cheaper here
Groceries - a bit cheaper in NZ

Don't know what utilities are like compared to there

A rip off, lol. My quarterly electricity bill is more than $800, more in summer because of air-con.

Gas is about $180 per quarter.

To break that down though, I have gas hot water, and a gas stove-top (oven is electric). Also run 2 computers 24/7 and a couple of big-ass printers for the business. And my fiance is keen on leaving a light on in every room she exits
