Damn that was impressive, 3 HR in a row. Although the display by manny after his HR is precisely the reason i hate him. He should take a page from Ortiz's book, he is a classy player.

It's funny how there are members of the media in Tampa camped out at Legends Field and at Boss' mansion. It's like they're waiting for a new Pope to be selected or something.

Then it dawned on me that Manny probably had no idea what the score was. In fact, he probably isn't aware that baseball games are determined by which team scores more runs. Manny's only point of differentiation comes when, after hitting a home run, he sees his teammates waiting for him at home plate -- it's at that point he knows it's time to go to the strip club."

that shit was staged so he could leave with the appearance that he was walking away. But i'm happy about this.

Now, hopefully mo stops crying like a little bitch and just signs. i just hope cashman doesn't offer him more than 5 mill a year and for no longer than 3 years.

EXACTLY. I love Manny more than I've loved any player since I started watching baseball. He's a rare human being.

"We want Alex."

How can you not love this guy?

I've always had a real bad attitude towards Manny until recently...I've done a complete 180...Now I think the dude is great...A real personality rather than the miserable bastid I always thought he was...Up until recently he avoided media attention like the plague and now you can't shut the guy up....Go Manny....

THe above is why i hate manny. while he's not necessarily wrong, his friggin job is to play baseball as well as he can and to try and make the world series. People with "real jobs" can't get away with bullshit attitudes like that.

EDIT: sorry about embedding the video, apparently it fucks up the page script.
