Well how about I hold you, you hold me? It'll be like a group hug, but it'll just be the two of us.

Older camera: - Canon D60
Lenses (Both Sigma): 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 DC Macro HSM (Hypersonic autofocus) and 80-400mm F4.5-5.6 OS (Optical Stabilization -similar to canon IS)
What lenses do you use?
And here is an example of some stuff I like to do (and to appease Pie)
Nice, I've never had a go with any sigma lenses before.
I use:
Canon f2.8 100mm USM Macro
Canon f3.5 - f5.6 18-55mm IS
Canon f4 - f5.6 70-300mm IS USM
Next on my hit list is the Canon L 100-400mm IS Not for quite a few months though, I think

You've thought of everything!
Sounds like a plan. Crotch punching, then almost-group-hug-holding! Can't wait!

Very nice. Next on my list is a good 10mm fisheye so I don't have to stitch pictures together (170° - ish view from Haleakala on Maui):
Original is 10772x1892 -pbucket really kills the size...
I am dealing with a 3500 mile move in the next month .. but when the finances settle back down I will be upgrading to a new canon dslr (probably the 40D or successor). After that will be the L that you are eyeballing. That one is so nice!

Beautiful shot! You're moving to Alaska, right?
I'd love to get a good wide angle too (looking at the Canon 10-22mm), but you still only get a minimum of 16mm with that, from the crop factor of the cameras we have, so the L telephoto wins for now. Got to play with one a bit while we were away. It was weird using the 'push-pull' design, rather than the twist design I'm used to, but it's a magic lens.
