I heard that The Drink had their 4am license approved, and that they'll be allowed to stay open until 4am starting 2 weeks from now.

I hope Viva gets their license sometime soon, that would fricken rule.

Wow, anyone read the post about his Calgary show Sounds like he really had a bad night. The Seattle show was great, I think sometimes people forget that its not always the DJs fault. Venues (like Commodore last Aug) rush the DJs off the stage b4 they have an opportunity to do an encore or stay around to sign autographs and take pictures. I thought his Seattle performance was seamless and he had great stage presence. He was jumping around on the stage. Plus, the crowd has alot to do with how interactive the DJs are. If the crowd sux, so does the DJs performance. I still dont think its any reason to throw stuff at someone tho.

OK guys i am in vancouver now but i was at the calgary show last night. This is the deal... tiesto played mostly tunes from his new cd.. not a big surprise. I thought he played them well, and i can't remember ever seeing tiesto so happy! (except for tiesto in concert clips...) he looked like he was having a good time. However, when the show was done we were all cheering, it was pretty off the hook.. but it looked like tiesto didn't even think about a encore.. When he first came in the doors i was the first one there with my lame sign.. it said "OP DE 8STE DAG.. MAAKTE GOD TIESTO!" which means "on the 8th day, god made tiesto" i couldn't think of anything better.. but when i saw him comming out i yelled "TIJS!! LOOK!" and i help out my sign and he laughed and said "very nice!" and shook my hand... so i can't say it was all that bad.. (sorry j-spot if this contradicts my last post) he also waved at me once or twice durring the show when i held out my sign. Not bad. Thats all i know.. see you at the commodore...
