Haha, I know, I guess that track set the bar pretty friggin' high, that's what sucks about having a popular tune. But then again, I did spend over a month on it, remixes are easier to make than original works, and vocal tracks in general will stand out more than instrumental ones. I hope people don't compare all my tracks to that one!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it in general though. I might try some more vocal tracks/remixes in the future, although I think for the next little while I'm just going to be taking a break...
Any suggestions in particular? I'm not officially calling it "finished" yet (there's no deadline for it ), so I'm open to ideas.

Weird Progressive Trance Track
I posted this in the production forum but here it is here in case some of you guys don't check it... a weird, kinda old-schoolish track that I'm still working on.
I've never really done anything this progressive before (and it's still quite melodic), but I think it's pretty nice. I essentially built this thing around the pads and bassline with some more-or-less unusual percussion.
I think the first few minutes sound pretty massive.
So right now this thing doesn't have any effects, hasn't really been mastered very well, and the ending needs fixing, but I was hoping to get a little bit of feedback on the bass, the percussion, the pads, and the overall structure/feel of the track. I'm considering bumbing the tempo up by a few BPM as well...

Cheers,
