Speaking solely for meself: It's not that I have an inherent problem with remakes of classics -- it's just that BT has set the bar so high (technically, emotionally) and so unique that when something like this is done, I tend to not find it very compelling. It either tries to copy BT's style and fails, or goes straight-ahead trance cliche. Mind you, a mix of the two might be tasty, but it's so obvious an idea it gets overlooked.
Hybrid have done some great remakes of classics in their time ("Papua New Guinea" by FSOL for one) so I await their second compilation of remixes. Back to BT, I disliked the "Frozen February" one awhile back intensely and it made me feel anti-passionate, but this one I might have to give a fair shake sometime. And the plus side is, hey, they like BT, so how bad can that be. I like the name, "Mudblood"... what is that, a Harry Potter reference?
