its getting better
today producers grow on like flowers...
its good because new talents come to surface, new sounds, new styles, more options to choose.
and its bad because we get a shitload of cheesy/shitty tracks
ofcourse i like the trance of 90s and early 00s more than the trance of 2005, thats my education, with tracks like nightmare, cream and cafe del mar i grow up, and unfortunally, tracks like these is hard to find these days, some f4ckerz (you all know who, i'm not saying names because i dont want to start a flame) set the rules now, and the rest of the producers must follow (if they want to make some money).
its time for others to get a piece from the pie, and i dont mean money, i mean recognition, there're a lot of good producers out there, but those f4ckerz i mentioned before keep them on the ground.
today recognition for a producer is if his track has spinned by those f4ckerz.
i personally dont care if a track is spinned by dj-a or dj-b to like it, most of the times i can tell if a production is good from the first drum beat, people should stop fell in love with every major dj's playlist, and explore the trance music on their own, if you search you'll find a lot of GOOD tunes, if you accept whatever they spin to you and mark it as a good-one automatically i doubt if you can find tunes with the feeling that oldies had.

Well, to make everyone happy he would have to play every new trance song known to man, and well... he just cant do that. So he gives us what he likes and what he thinks the majority of listeners will like too. He succeeds in both therefor ASOT kicks ass!
