i was gonna try and not pick favorites cause all the dj's played so well, but this set really stuck out for me too, kurfew(for mixing in a track you havent even heard b4 and had it slapped onto your table and somehow pulling it off, gamma(for your unique prog house/trance sounds and supurb mixing, ampz(for mixing outa purple haze even ferry cant get that one right) u guys were right up there imo too, but the maddness that was going on in the nada zone during the mobius and stilez set was unmatched at any other point in the weekend! great job guys!!!

As posted earlier by me - THE TWEAKED OUT GOODNESS that was being coaxed out of those records via the mixer and your fingers - HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! Technically SUPERB!!!! The NADA-ZONE was SWEATY PIT of sexy gyrating bodies moving in one mass-motion to your beats Mobius and Stilez....had us crinked, cranked and crunked........deep and meaty.......I had never heard some of those songs spun so well.

We go down it only to find out we’ve somehow gone down the wrong road. How is this possible we both think because the road were on says Grey 19. So Graham calls Nada again (who just might be a little under the influence by now ) and gets us redirected. We turn around and head back and see Grey 19 on the left side and take it. Yes, were on another road called Grey 19. So we follow that for a good 15 minutes before Graham says “Jay, I think were on the wrong Grey 19”. More time lost. We head back and run into another road Grey 19 (I’m not that intelligent, but even I know you don’t name every fackin road Grey 19). So of course this is also not the correct Grey 19 either. We go to use my phone only to discover the battery is just about dead. It turns out even Murphys laws can run out cause we find the right Grey 19 and make it to the cottage. There is flashing lights coming from the cottage. This is the phone call that ensues. Graham “Nada is there flashing lights at the Cottage?” Nada “Yes there is. Park behind the red car there” There is a red car there so I park behind it. We get out grab our liquor and head into this massive cottage. We head in and hear good beats banging up stairs so we head up and feast our eyes on a party. Problem was it wasn’t our party it was some random party we just walked into. Being black everyone starts to eye me and assume the worst is about to happin (jk). Everyone stops and looks at us then some guy walks up to me and asks if he knows me. Then some random guy comes up to me and asks me if I’m on his baseball team. Dude I know we all look the same but on your baseball team come on lol . We leave what looked like a good party and head out again to find our party. Of course we got lost again, but someone felt sorry for us and we eventually found the cottage an hour later. We get there to find just about everyone of there rocker dancing to beats. I knew then and there that this weekend was gonna be nothing but gt’s. I got my stuff and a group of us claimed a room and then proceed to drink ourselves stupid. Can’t really remember what time the tunes had to get shut down, but damn were they good. Everyone who didn’t crash after that just basically chilled around till the early morning. Don’t remember going to bed that night but I seemed to wake up instantly when I heard talk of food. Woke up and went into town with Jamie and crew for some kick ass breakfast at the Collingwood diner. Got back to the cottage and just chilled out to sick beats and waited for the rest of the army to arrive. Got the good news that my girl Lars was finally in Stayner and me and Jamie went to get our girl and more needed beer. Came back and just danced like a fool to the insane beats of collective dj’s. I then got to witness one of my favorite memories of the whole weekend: dinner. Watching everyone helping and interacting with each other at dinner was simply remarkable. Huge props to everyone who contributed to getting dinner ready and cleaning up afterwards. With a full belly out of the way the only thing left on the list was to get as many beers into me as humanly possible. The night just continued to reach new highs of ecstasy. Fun times in tossing the football around with everyone after dinner and just being crazy. After the music had to be taken down stairs I swear that’s when the real party animals in everyone began. It was so awesome to be down there with everyone in that type of CZ – sketch environment. I just wish the party never ended but there are only so many hours in a day I guess. Got a bit of sleep woke up and unhappily had to say good bye to the people, the party, and the cottage . Thanks you Jamie for letting us all chill at your house after the cottage for some much needed chill out time. And lost but certainly not least a huge THANK YOU to everyone who spun for us all. Every one of you did an amazing good and should be congratulated. Ray thank you for the good quality house tunes you dropped and the name brother darkness will forever be etched in my brain . I want to send a enormous shout out to everyone who attended again cause you all rock. Make my poor tormented black soul happy again and e-mail a brother [email protected] . WOW! First of all let me say this: Thanks to Nada, Ali and Dan for organizing this crazy ass party weekend. All 3 of you fucking rule. As for everything else from the djs sets that I've heard while there, the good vibes all around and people just going mental everywhere, how can you ask for a better time then that? It was a huge mission to get up there but after getting a ride up with Stiles and Mobius (Thanks A LOT guys. ) and walking downstairs into the basement turned club it could only get better from there. I had a wicked time spinning (one of my first experiences live) and glad you guys liked what I dropped. All I can say is WE MUST do this again. Ciao for now, see you all @ Labour of Love (or Matt Darey @ Viva on Fri if I end up going).

I wasn't able to catch Mobius and Stilez as I was trying to get random sketch bags outta the cottage but i did catch some of urs woW!!! Ur phenomenal!! and the talk outside on the patio about ur trip etc MAN u lucky bastard!! thnx for sending me the links to ur Europe pics!!! we'll talk more soon so i can prepare myself for some CRAZiness next summer!! u have to promise one thing tho...NEXT YR when there's a cottage party for TA's UR ASS NEEDS TO BE THERe the whole wknd!!!
