When did those 20 test pressing come out? I mean I heard an amazing track played by Guy Ornadel at the Screen Club Helsinki on 31st May. Now that I listen to Ligaya, I think it must be the same tune that Guy Ornadel was playing. But that would mean that there were some Ligaya test pressings in UK already in late May. Is that possible?
And another question to those who know about release groups. An answer to this would be very helpful:
Is it true that release groups rip ALL vinyls? I mean even the really obscure ones. I'm constantly looking for mp3s of really rare new tracks, but don't find very many. Are they so hard to find because they don't get into circulation outside the groups, or simply because even the groups ignore them? The impression that I've got is that at least 50% of rare tracks are not noticed by anyone (they didn't even make it to AG). Examples:
Richard van Dongen's and Vincent Kriek's vinyls on the Black Hole sublabels. Most stuff in 1999-2000 on Radar, Rewind, Karma, Swivel, Playground and other small Dutch labels. B-sides of vinyls on small German and Swiss labels.
Even the vinyls were probably made in small quantity even if they aren't super rare or valuable.
I know for a fact Guy Ornadel has it...he played it last friday at Godskitchen...but then again he gets a LOT of stuff...he owns his own DJ management business (manages sasha etc....), and he was one of the first to have the tiesto mix of southern sun, cos he was caning it for ages....well be4 I knew what it was (avoided the southern sun threads like the plague )

so when the f*ck did winamp let ya stop, start, spin back, scratch, alternate between 45rpm and 33rpm and alter the pitch on something that your playing.if your version of winamp does all them things then you certainly have a better f*cking version than most of us have.

i dont think guy ornadel would have had a copy in may.armin premiered it on his radio show in mid july and he said in his chat room that he had just got a copy.armin is best mates with ferry so i am almost certain that he would have been one of the 1st people that ferry would have gave a copy too and i dont think that would have been nearly 2 months after he had given it to guy ornadel.

Ornadel DEFINATELY has it...as I quite nearly came in my pants when he dropped it....and seeing as he prolly manages ferry or something silly like that..he may well have had it
edit: he may have had it on CD-R or something
