my intention was to point out how ridiculous the religious argument against evolution is and to offer insight as to why religion is ultimately fallicious and why some people need faith while others can be perfectly happy without it

It is everyone's right to have their one beliefs and I find it bad for everyone to go bashing others because they have a different view on things.

ps: most of christian society in the US is caucasian of European descent.
It may be reasonable to assume at least in part that they left Europe because of religious persecution which resulted in the US being what it is today.

no. i just don't want religion integrated into our society so much. i realize the majority of americans are religious but they shouldn't push there ideas of morality on the entire country.
