Nice fight from the USA. They deserved the point. Now they can still get into the next round.

The states definetly did some good defending there, and i think theyre gameplay was better with 9 men than with 11 That last red card was bullshit though. Intense game nonetheless.

it was a good game. its ashame that the ref is going to end up being the story of the game. italy hasnt impressed me so far but neither has the US. there will be a lot of drama in this group for the next matches.

italians at the end were shit ....they missed scoring like 3 times at least but it seemed american were fresher ..trying more to attack .

anyway i think keller is a good goal keeper and i wish we could trade him against barthez tomorrow

Dramatic game.

The second half started out with a red card for Eddie Pope after a pretty harsh challenge. If he didn't deserve to get a second yellow card, then he probably did because he was playing very close to his opponent.

It was a very interesting game, and Italy took to easy on this assignment. They should've played a lot better, but they didn't and De Rossi ruined everything, but it all came back in the second half where they played 10 vs. 9 players.

Perrotta seems to be injured, hopefully nothing serious. USA should've maybe got that goal which Beasley scored, but Italy should've been awarded with a penalty after rough play in USA's penalty area.

Great game

ref was suspended in 2001 for irregularities. what does that mean? making bad calls?

Amazing game.

Italy played with 10
US. played with 9

Im glad they put up an effort that will make the final game worth watching.

US vs Ghana::::Should be worth watching now that Reyna won't be playing as he recieved 2 yellow cards.

Italy vs Czech Republic::::Italy will play being worried that Ghana will beat the US and they might lose which would mean a ticket for ghana and czech republic into the next round. Czech Republic will play thinking US might beat Ghana and Italy might beat them which means a ticket for the US and Italy into the next round.

This has now become the true group of death heading into the final game.

Regardless what happens Im proud of the Effort my country put up in this game.
