fuck it, at least we took the czech's with us when we knocked out that one commie in the first game. we totally messed up their vibe for the second and third games, even tho they kicked our ass... MUTALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION -is a bitch!

Ofcourse they would, they're a lot better team than USA even though some players are pretty much better than others in this team.

but that's assuming that the bad call didn't have a negative effect on the americans, and they just kept on trucking like nothing. when stuff like this happens, it can rattle the best of them. i don't know, i just saw about 1/2-3/4 of the second half... so i can't really argue w/you. but you're right, even w/a tie the US would have still gone home.

zoric, i don't think they we're A LOT better... we gave them a run for their money. they couldn't man handle us like they did to the commies. don't forget that they were given a free penalty, and there were several oscar winning perfromances... and probably a couple of dives that could win a gold in the olympics. maybe in hollywood, or diving ghanna is better than the US, but not much better @ playing futbol. :-)

The Czech's aren't commies, it's Eastern Europe. I've heard Prague is one of the best travel destinations for partiers like myself from a couple of friends of mine. I'm looking forward to going there sometime within the next 1-2 years.

As for their football team though, I'm glad they're out.

But I still think they deserved to go through, but that's a part of the game. To accept the defeat and continue building on, Trust me, I'm used to it

actually, i don't think espn or anybody really care about futbol.

i remember earlier this year i tried surfing espn, or fsn, i don't remember... to see how was boca jrs doing in a turnament, and this pretty much how it went for me...

after going thru all of that, i just ended up w/what ever is happening in europe. it was like there was no such thing as SA futbol.

after that i just went straight to one of the argentinean newspapers and just clicked on the sports section. and *BAM* just like that i found out what was going on. for a long time it was the same thing w/television. actually, i almost fell out of my seat in the lunch room the other day when i saw that ABC was televising a game. i had to ask someone to confirm that i was still in the USA.

after all these years of being ignored, they will never get me back. as much as the spanish channel sucks because they remind me of the old "wwwaaaaassssssssssssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppppp" comercials w/their childishness, and amateurism i will never use an american medium to get my fill of my one of my favorite sports.

in a nutshell, george bush does not care about futbol.
