I'm sad... the atmosphere here was great till now.. besides Italy plays shitty football.. breaking always the game and scoring in the last minutes.
Erm... Germany played decent football this tournament against poor teams, against decent teams like Argentina and Italy they got back to their louzy German style football, they only convinced against poor teams like Poland, Costa Rica, Ecuador and a poor Sweden
And wasnt scoring in the last minute called German Style??? Glad they got beaten in their own style Italy was just better, playing daring offensive football with 4 attackers, wasnt Catanaccio at all
Italy for Weltmeister

actually i agree with him here.. it particularly got to my nerve yesterday when at every little minor thing Klinsmann would go insane with his protests, even when it was the right call. Podolski always whines too.
they're not the only ones, our team whines a lot too, but the germany team hasn't been perfect.

FORZA AZZURRI!!!!!!!!!!!!
FORZA LIPPI!!!!!!!!!!!
What an unbelievable game!!! Fabio Cannavaro is the anchor of Italia's defence, what a performance! The whole team played excellent this is the italy i know, bad luck to Germany they played well especially 1st half, few close moments for them while Italy should've burried atleast 3 goals.
GERMANIA, GERMANIA VAFUNCULO!!
(thats for the german press givin us hell all week and those around the world against us!)

Come to think of it,
All those "Germany vs. Brazil in the finals" conspiracy theorists have now been proven wrong. I wonder if they will come up with something else.

Absolutely and this is the main reason I was so desperate to see Germany knocked out. They were clearly using the host status to their advantage by being overly animated drama queens.
Klinsmann's my favorite player of all time but it pissed me of to see him dancing and jumping in protest with every foul against his team(even legitimate ones). It was very obvious, he was just trying to get the crowd worked up for no reason.
Podolski to me was the biggest dickhead of the tournament. They call him the German Watne Rooney but while Rooney might have a bad temper, this guy seems like hes still ten years old with his "Hey Mr. Referee sir, please give that mean man a card" actions. I also hear hes had past issues with his club FC Cologne so its proof enough about this guys attitude.
I feel sorry for Ballack. He may have fallen cluthing his face for every tackle on any part of his body but he played so shit, he had to make some sort of contribution to the team .
The only guy in the german team who deserves any sort of credit is Klose. Mouth shut, no dirty tactics just get the job done and its no surprise hes the reason germany got so far.

well... i'm not defending them for any protests,
but at the end it was still a nice semi final to watch.
furthermore he prolly went insane with his protests yesterday, cuz the pressure on him + team was tremendous.
...looking forward to watch the game against portugal or france on saturday in stuttgart.

Yes, undoubtly the pressure is huge and I don't fully blame him. It's just that some people here either name certain squads as robot teams that don't feel the pressure, and therefore are supposedly better than everyone else (like some did with Germany in this thread), or ignore the pressure factor all together.

I was so sad & pist yesterday, still not over it but Italy played a better defensive game & Germany couldn't keep possession of the ball to save their life.
I was not impressed with how Germany played & those last two goals were shameful...as I HATE to admit it, Italy played better BUT they gotta stop faking so many bs fouls & crying like babies pretending to be hurt. The one guy literally jumping over Ballack & then acting like he got hurt, then the ref signals him to get up LMAO I almost died laughing.
It was the best game of the W.C for me by far...very skillful to say the least.
